The Vista View Bed and Breakfast in Homer, Alaska
features a panoramic view of Kachemak Bay from the glaciers on the East to
Cook Inlet, West of Homer. Formally known as Seekin's Bed & Breakfast,
it was the first B & B opened in Homer in the early '80s offering
lodging to tourists discovering Homer's natural beauty. Over the years the
business grew and was featured on Charles Kerault's “On the Road”,
showing Homer's eagles and scenic vistas. It was also featured on Japanese
TV and on a program by the Alaska Visitor Association on Bed &
Breakfasts in Alaska hosted by local commentator Tom Bodett. When
you visit the Vista View Bed and Breakfast you are only 5 minutes from
downtown Homer and it's many art galleries, shops and restaurants. We love pets
and they are welcome at our B&B. If you are fishing for the day we will
care for them while you're gone.New owners Henry and Janet Baldauf have renovated the buildings and hope to continue the philosophy of the Seekins: “To make it a home away from home and when visitors come as strangers they should leave as friends and family”. The Vista View Bed and Breakfast is open year round. Come in, look around and visit our Rooms · Please click photos for enlargements · Home | Our Rooms | Booking | Your Hosts | A Few Photos
